“, unless the terms and conditions explicitly state otherwise.

To acquire membership/supporting membership, an application must be submitted either verbally or in writing. The Executive Board decides on admission. The application may be refused without giving reasons.

“ promotes products or services via a partner program, e.g. as an affiliate, the general terms and conditions of the respective partner apply.

rights and obligations

The members/supporting members are entitled to participate in (research) projects and events of the association and to use the premises of the association. The members/supporting members are obliged to promote the interests of the association, protect the reputation and purpose of the association and pay the membership fees on time. “ to third parties does not exist.

“LICHTREICHE” also assumes no liability for accidents and/or damages that may occur to members or non-members during an event organized by “LICHTREICHE”.

The association lives and fulfils idealistic, charitable, social, humane, benevolent, natural and honest purposes. "LICHTREICHE" does not pursue any political or religious intentions and in this context points out that it does not belong to any religious, ideological or political group. However, if a supporting member is personally active or passively involved in this sense, he must ensure that his activities in this regard are not and cannot be associated with his membership or with "LICHTREICHE". He must also avoid any activity that could harm or discredit "LichtReiche" in this context or in other areas. "LICHTREICHE" can cancel membership at any time if the above points are not observed, even if there is suspicion.

payment

If the supporting member is in arrears with one or more payments, he or she will lose his or her privileges as a supporting member for the duration of the arrears. The membership fee must continue to be paid regularly until the end of the term, even if the supporting member does not use or is unable to use the services.

Service offers, courses, seminars, training, etc. can be purchased directly via our website. The general terms and conditions of “LICHTREICHE” apply or, if purchased via a payment and billing provider such as Digistore24 and others, the general terms and conditions of the respective payment processor.

If the customer/contractual partner defaults on the payment of an instalment, “LICHTREICHE” is entitled to terminate the agreed instalment payment and to make the entire remaining remuneration immediately due.

If the customer/contractual partner has purchased a subscription and defaults, “LICHTREICHE” is entitled to terminate the underlying contract with immediate effect. In this case, the customer/contractual partner owes compensation in the amount of the lost profit of “LICHTREICHE” less saved expenses, taking into account the early repayment. The resulting damage amounts to 80% of the agreed remuneration from the time of termination until the end of the agreed subscription. The customer/contractual partner remains free to prove that we have suffered no or less damage.

Other claims arising from default remain unaffected.

Length of time

Membership/supporting membership expires upon resignation, expiration, exclusion or non-existence. Membership lasts for 1 year and can be extended for a further year if requested, unless terminated with 3 months' notice prior to the end of the membership year. Termination is done in writing to a member of the executive committee. A time-limited membership/supporting membership ends automatically upon expiration if it is not extended.

Replacement services for services not used are not possible. In the event of termination, “LICHTREICHE” will not refund fees, credits, commissions, sponsorship projects, etc. paid in advance. This also applies to advance payments for events, courses, seminars, consultations, etc. for non-sponsoring members.

products

Products can be requested via purchase enquiries. "LICHTREICHE" responds in writing and thus accepts or rejects a purchase enquiry made by the buyer. The sales prices include the applicable VAT. The goods remain the property of "LICHTREICHE" until full payment has been made. In the event of defects, "LICHTREICHE" must be informed immediately so that it can make improvements or deliver replacements.

arbitration
The internal arbitration court is responsible for settling all disagreements arising from the association relationship. It is an "arbitration body" within the meaning of the Association Act 2002 and not an arbitration court according to §§ 577 ff ZPO. It is set up in such a way that each party involved nominates two members to the executive committee as arbitrators within seven days. These members elect a chairman for the arbitration court by a relative majority. In the event of a tie, the decision is made by drawing lots. The orders of the arbitration court are valid and can be made by a simple majority. The arbitration court decides by a simple majority after both sides have been heard and in the presence of all its members. It always decides to the best of its knowledge and belief. Its instructions are clearly valid within the association.

Only Austrian law applies. The place of performance is Vienna. The place of jurisdiction for registered merchants or legal entities under public law is Vienna. In the case of cross-border contracts, this also applies to non-merchants. “LICHTREICHE” reserves the right to appeal to any other internationally competent court.

cancellation policy

The cancellation period begins on the day of acceptance of the contract, e.g. by payment or registration.

The cancellation period does not apply,

if the contractual partner wishes that the LICHTREICHE service (supporting members, online course, online training, online support, digital service...) begins or is provided immediately and before the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period.

Otherwise, the contract can be revoked in writing within 14 days without giving reasons. The period begins on the day of acceptance of the contract, e.g. by payment or registration. Send the revocation in good time to

Anyone who is a member/supporting member of LICHTREICHE and has informed LICHTREICHE of this verbally or in writing has a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from registration according to § 312d BGB. Within this period, the registration can be withdrawn in writing (letter or email) without giving reasons.
